Do I need an account?

No. Start with one pet on one phone. An account is needed for sync, sharing, and export.

Can it prevent a duplicate dose?

No app can prevent one. TailTandem gives the household a shared record and flags conflicting updates for review.

Does it give medication advice?

No. TailTandem records and reminds; medication decisions stay with your veterinarian.
